We’re thrilled to welcome you at Heineken Balaton Sound very soon! Here we put together a handy guide containing all the information you need to fully enjoy your festival experience in Zamárdi.
During your stay, please respect locals and also the environment. Keep the beach, the Lake and Zamárdi clean.
How to get to Zamárdi?
Check all the details on our travel page containing info about transfer, train, driving details, official taxi partner (Főtaxi), wigo carsharing offer, speedboat & more. If you travel on your own, here is the Google Maps link.
- Need a transfer? Book your spot from the Airport or Népliget International Bus Station by clicking here. Bus transfers, private minivan transfers are still available in a limited amount.
- Traveling by car/caravan? Don’t forget to grab a motorway vignette from here. Parking places are available in a very limited amount. Therefore, we suggest choosing an alternative way to arrive in Zamárdi. There is a free parking zone (@ Szent István street) – but again: very limited availability.
- Arriving by wigo – our official carsharing partner? There’s a dedicated parking lot, check on the map.
- Want to arrive by train? Trains run around the clock during the festival, and what’s more, Zamárdi railway station is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the festival venue. Use the MÁV app to avoid queueing.
- How about bikes or scooters? Ride to Sound or bring it with you on the train/caravan or rent one and you’ll be free as a bird – it’s the easiest way to get anywhere and you can park it at the Main Entrance at the Bike Storage. But ofc if you are wasted, pls don’t cycle!
